Kaichi Terashima is a Japanese artist based in Berlin working with photography, publishing, and observation-based practices.

Through walking, collecting, and close observation of everyday environments, his work explores relationships between human and non-human spaces, distance and proximity, and the ways bodies, materials, and environments come into contact. He approaches photography not only as representation, but as a means of engaging with the surrounding world through observation and physical interaction.
